who would have believed at the beginning or even with the quarter finals lined up that we will get to see France and Italy in the finals.But here they are, powered by the sheer brillinace of Zidane and shrewd tactics of Lippi respectively.Pele criticized Italy's defensive strategy saying they did not play to win but to not to lose.But in the dying stages of the game against Germany in extra time Lippi put four forwards upfront and their relentless attacks evantually paid off.It was a very shrewd move as in the penalties it would have been anybody's game.
My predictions have gone haywire and i am wiser by now about the unpredictibilities of this game..as in life it is this uncertaity that brings joy to our life..

and they say there is no goodness in this world!

i want to share some personal examples which i have had with some indeed not so ordinary people. i was coming from dhanbad to Kolkata via Black Diamond train.the departure time was 11.30 pm but that day the train was late by 3 hours. my tour wasn't planned and i had a waiting category ticket in the sleeper class. normally there is not much rush and i expected to get a seat. that day was different. every compartment was filled with people and there were people sleeping on the floor in between the seats. Dhn to Kol is a 5hours journey and i reconciled myself to not getting a seat.i finally managed to cajole a person give some space to sit at the edge of a seat though it was very uncomfortable. Initially people were jostling for space and it was humid.however as the train started , things settled down. my bag was lying underneath the seat i was sitting.there was a aged bengali person sitting in front of me in similar circumstances who too was going to kolkata. we hardly exchanged glan...
