Argentina: their game agaianst S&M was a gem display of total football.With
Crespo , Tevez, Messi its a deadly combination upfront..Riquelme is solid in the
midfield and as he showed against holland, is a dangerous playmeker.With Maradona egging them on in each match they are the team to beat in this world cup.

Brazil: austantatious talent alone can not take this team forward..if they are to win the world cup they will have to shore up their defence and hope that their magic boy Ronaldo can carve magic again..Ronaldinho will have to act more decisively as a playmaker..





Germany: This team looks ominous and Miroslav Klose is on a scoring spree..
Podolski, Ballack add to the glittereing forwardline..add this to the well known
German grit and you have a team ready to go all the way in this world cup..




my predictions:

final between Brazil and Argentina with Argentina winnng its third world cup..

My experience of Chinese Cuisine

I am a connosieur of sea-food and they are the first ones i try in a new restaurant. however I am no fan of chinese cuisine ...at least till very recently.. Tulips ..well that's the name of the restaurant recently opened in Zaria. Luckily its very close to where I stay. They have tried well with a bakery, pool table, bar and cyber cafe all available. the ambience is good and thankfully provides some refreshing change to my monotonous schedule. The fried shrimps ---well it actually contains the whole unpeeled shrimps( including the tail and legs) as if caught straight from the sea and then fried ..not to mention the red chillies..but the effort of eating is worth it and and in the end you only complain of the quantity. the stewed prawn--- u get a shock when its served..its a king size with just one prawn in its full regalia( the upper coat and tail ) served in a stew of red tomatoes. well the taste is disenchanting ...i guess the smaller ones are always more tastier. the stewed...

my 2 cents on FDI in retail

the real issue is not whether Walmart should be allowed ot not..the real issue is under what clauses it should be allowed and where should they be allowed? when i say clauses i mean questions like: how much local sourcing are they going to do??? if a product is available in india, they should source it from india even if its cheaper abroad what pricing strategy are they allowed to adopt?? imagine WalMart dumping all the chinese goods e.g. toys which are very cheap and killing the local manufacturers more importantly they should not be allowed to sell below cost price..that is killing the kirana competition
